Got these as a gift - good for any age from about 8-12. These are classics, and each are quite short. "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is about 150 pages, with LOTS of pictures. The box set is about the price of buying any two of these books alone, so you get two more free, in a decent box. Except for "The Great Glass Elevator" (did you know that the Chocolate Factory had a hilarious sequel?) the other three have all been made into movies, so they make a great chance to compare books to movies with the kids.

I read a chapter in one of these books every night to my 3 year old son and he loves all of them. This set is great with the carry storage box and the covers are illustrated beautifully.
You cannot go wrong with books by Ronald Dahl. These are entertaining for young and old alike.

This is a great set of Roald Dahl's work. I bought it for my three year old. She wanted more pictures, but that is a three year old for you. We greatly enjoy all of the stories. Roald Dahl is an amazing story teller.
