Over all I enjoyed these short stories as a collection but I liked some better than others as one might expect. I didn't read this all in one go so I just jotted down a few notes to help me remember things later to be able to write something about them. So I'll share those notes.From New York, With LoveEmily comes around pretty quickly for how upset she was initially about Josh wanting to leave NYC. Stresses for a few days but gradually begins to feel the peace of small town southern life. I wasn't 100% sure that change would happen so quickly in life.A Whole Latte ChristmasSweet story, heavy on the Christian lit. I'm not sure on accuracy on the saving girl from pond. If the ice was thin enough for her to go through, wouldn't it have been dangerous for others to be at the ice edge to pull her out? I liked the main characters.Key West ChristmasA little more edgy. She left a live in boy friend and there was mild language. The fight felt odd and out of the blue like he was looking for an excuse to step back. The resolve was good though. This one was just okay for me.A Girl's Guide to Creating ChristmasSweet story with multiple morals to the story. Don't judge. Let God in. Family is most important. There is always room for love. There are probably more but that was what stood out to me. This one really could be the basis for a Hallmark movie. Light on the Christian lit but defs there.Santa MaybeThis story made me wonder about how many times our paths intersect or cross the paths of other people without our ever realizing it. When my husband and I started dating a lifetime ago, we discovered that there were a number of situations where we had likely walked past each other many times because our classrooms were next door to each other at the same hour or things like that. How many others do I walk past in life and never see or notice. Just my musings....Anyway, I liked both Colin and Nora as main characters. And I liked that the story isn't insta-love. They see each other a number of times and there is interest but by the end of this novella they haven't jumped into a relationship. The story ends at their beginning.We don't really even know if they will work out as a couple but I had the feeling that they will. So it feels like a happily ever after even if we don't see it on the written page.Scottish HolidayDid not care for this one. I liked the characters as friends but didn't buy theromance. Clean though.

She learns what is really important. 3.5*A Whole Latte Christmas - A fun, heartwarming story filled with family and love while she learns to trust love again. My favorite story, just perfect for a cuppa and a snuggle. 4*Key West Christmas - I'm wrong; this is my favorite story! A heartwarming story of change made better by a fun, loving, caring man and a good landlady turned friend. Learning to make new traditions. 5*A Girl's Guide To Creating Christmas - One of the best Christmas stories I've read in a long time. Fun, heartwarming and filled with the wonders and true meaning of Christmas. A second chance at life and love. 5*Santa Baby, Maybe -Scottish Holiday -Christmas Wishes & Heartwarming Kisses End.To Love ... and ... Renovate #2 - I didn't get to read the first book of this series, which I think would have made this book more meaningful to me. Well written and easy to read with likable characters and a plot full of happenings. Of course, there's wedding details still to be completed, working at their jobs and trying to wait for the wedding night, why wouldn't there be drama? But there was fun and laughter, too. A good balance throughout the book. I liked Virginia's calm approach to the wedding preparations. Oh, don't forget the elephant in the pink tutu - the renovations. I appreciate this being a clean story, which only needed minor editing. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4*
These stories are just ok. There isn't much depth to the dialogue. Also the ending of each story is abrupt. They all need better editing!
I love sweet romance. Lovelovelove. But these ones: not so much. I kept on trying because I kept on expecting things to get better. I kept on thinking: the stories are sweet, why don’t I like them? The style of writing was dry and stilted. I couldn’t get used to it. I want to FEEL. That didn’t happen. The description of how Sonia saves someone, for example, is so short and curt! The stories were sweet, but didn’t enter my heart. Stories from afar. They never reached me. I’m not allowed inside the main character’s head. How is she feeling? It’s only a description of what she’s doing and saying. Clunky and clumsy. Well-meaning but not there YET.

Loved each story..Characters pulled you into the story line... I would recommend to anyone who loved good love stories that make you feel that you know the characters in real life.
This is a sweet and clean holiday novella collection geared toward the hallmark channel fans. Which I am, so it held great appeal to me.Recommend.
