I torn. I liked the characters and the story was good but I felt like the author needs more experience and to concentrate more, or perhaps go back and re-read her stories before publishing them. Several grammatical errors (e.g., peak instead of peek) that shouldn't occur if good proof reading is undertaken. I thought the end came up too fast and that there could have been a better interweaving of the villain into the story. The heroine's friend was kind of thrown away and the old lady, who the characters seemed to adopt at one point, totally vanished from the story. She seemed like a great character to include and I was sorry she wasn't given a proper place or at least update in the epilogue. I wanted to know what happened with her. I'll have to give some serious thought to reading other stories in this series.
I really enjoy reading Ms. Sullivan's books. This one, oh my, everyone's sad back stories and the fire drama ex boyfriend, it is all so touching. Excellent read and I recommend this book.
Great story but, consider a proof reader. Major spelling errors and poor grammar. Very hard to read without correcting subconsciously
The story line didn't make sense. Unrealistic. And the editing in this book was non existant. It made it hard ro read.
First the story's plot was predictable and underdeveloped. The initial premise of the story and relationship between the three characters is good, but nothing was fully developed. Disappointing! The lead character meet two guys and announces within minutes to a bar full of people that she was thinking of having sex with both of them. Her friend's reaction was strange and confusing. Then the sex between the three of them was difficult to accept since the two men hadn't seen each other for 15 years and had never shared a woman. But the biggest problem with this story is the overwhelming number of grammatical errors misspelled words. If someone edited this book did they even speak English? Thankfully, I didn't spend money to buy this book and just borrowed it through unlimited plan. I'm an English teacher, and I would give this story a failing grade and suggest a rewrite.
This is a sexy insta-love story. I liked the story and loved the characters, which is important for me. The editing was so bad though that I had a hard time getting into the book. Wrong words were used, some sentences had extra words and timing didn't always line up. I had to reread sentences, sometimes more, to figure out what was supposed to be written. It kept me from really getting into the story.
This is a great story about friendship and love, but there were some problems. The number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors were so distracting it really messed up the flow of the story. This is definitely a disappointment since the story is very enjoyable. If not for those issues, I would have given this book five stars.
